Hey,

BoMA
Tonight, sure was great.
I had a gig at the Bar of Modern Art in Columbus, off of Broad. The other comics did a great job. Put on by Keith Van Buskirk, it was a Toys for Tots benefit show. The turnout could have been larger, I'm not sure who or what to blame. The show was covered by 99.7 the rock. When I first arrived, I was alone and met Keith soon after. When Morgan Ferretti and Brandon Ballinger arrived we went outside to the smoking section, there we met two people who were there for the "Lawyer Party" we dubbed it. After they had bummed smokes they found out I was there to perform comedy. Never have I crashed a party, so I found this to be a great place to start. We followed our new friends up the stairs where a V.I.P section and an open bar were waiting for us. We stood and drank our beers for a while until it was caught on and my being 'famous' mostly my face being noticed by the owner realizing I wasn't supposed to be there.
Brandon and I filmed a Mockumentary about my set that night. Soon there will be a posting of the set. It is a 'fake' stand-up comedy special, that we filmed. I am excited to see the outcome, I hope you will be too. I feel I met some good people tonight, and I hope it will help in the future.

There's Something About a Cigar
Another project I am working on, is a film adaptation of the play Jack Kerouac wrote in 1941 while he was at Columbia- 'There is Something About a Cigar' I have a cast lined up of very talented people. It will be exciting, originally the play takes place near a lake with gentleman coming in learning the importance of 'taking it all in' I re-wrote parts to make it fit the cast and my surroundings (Westerville, Oh) The project will both shine a light on the beautiful small town of Westerville and also bring about knowledge of a not-so well known play written by an 18 year old Jack Kerouac. I was unable to find a copy of the play on google, but just use it as an excuse to pick up and much needed book for any Kerouac lover like myself. The play and other essays/short stories are featured in the collection titled 'Atop an Underwood'

The time has come
The first episode of 'Doing Asbestos We Can' is finished- as stated earlier. We have had some trouble uploading. It appears we are going to have to split the file up in order for youtube to accept it. Jon and I have episode II 'Imma Tellim' written and blocked as well as episode III 'Home Alone Too: Lost in New Yorkie' We are very excited to get the shooting underway, there are some exciting scenes. Episode II will include montages to both 'Better off dead' by elton john and ' Call Me Al' by paul simon. By tomorrow you and others will be able to view episode one. I hope you enjoy it as much as we had making it.

Nicholas Warndorf

The great thing about living at 25 E. Winter are the people I live with and encounter. I have the great pleasure of being surrounded by great artwork, paintings that have been done by my roommate and friend Nicholas Warndorf. The paintings provided are hanging in my living room, my personal favorites of landscapes derived from googlemaps. and figure paintings he did with collage work from separate photographs.
Doing Asbestos We Can
Episode I of Doing Asbestos We Can - A tremendous poop, has been completed. Creators Jon Allen and I worked very hard on writing and getting it taken care of- on the back end Brandon Ballinger finished all of the editing and we are very proud of the outcome.
